Refund Policy

Agreement of Terms and Conditions - When purchasing a vehicle from Top Lane Cars Ltd you will be asked to read this (T&C's). If the clarity of any points are unclear you must inform a representative prior to signing, you are over the age of 18. Once you have signed the agreement you will be bound to the following Terms and Conditions listed below.

Terms for Deposits - All deposits are Non-refundable. Money placed on a vehicle to hold and remove from sale will not be returned under any circumstance.

Courtesy Cars - Due to extortionate Insurance costs we no longer offer any form of courtesy or loan vehicles, in the event of a warranty repair should we require the vehicle for a length of time it will be your responsibility to find alternate means of transport and bear all and any costings.

Vehicle Pick-up - At the point of sale you have agreed for Pre-sales prep work to be carried out on your vehicle - This takes approximately 7 working days, if your vehicle requires additional parts or there is a reasonable delay you will be notified. We do not accept responsibility for any knock-on effects due to delays to handing over the vehicle, parts used during any vehicle preparation stages or during your warranty will be aftermarket if no other agreement has been made in advance and expressly agreed in writing by both parties.

Inspect - You have been given an opportunity to fully inspect the vehicle and are 100% satisfied - Signing of the order form will confirm that you have test driven the vehicle and you are fully satisfied with the cosmetic and mechanical condition of your purchase, during our PDI process we will make sure one Remote Key works, any additional keys will be classed as spares and may not fully operate as intended, upon handover the vehicle will get a wash, if a valet is required a quote can be provided.

Reporting an issue - It is your responsibility to inform Top Lane Cars Ltd if a fault occurs, you must give exact the mileage when reporting any fault, you must not drive the vehicle unless given written authority to continue doing so by a member of Top Lane Cars Ltd after sale team. We will not be held responsible for any consequential damage caused by continuous driving after fault has occurred.

Warranty - Standard warranty on any vehicle purchased will be for a period of 3 months (see Warranty section for full coverage) and will only cover items that have suffered a Breakdown, if own garage repairs please see details on our "Warranty Section". If you wish to purchase an additional warranty which has greater coverage and the option of your own garage repairs please see details on our "Warranty Section".

PX Vehicles - As the seller you confirm your vehicle has not been involved in an accident, not been used for a driving instruction business, taxi or used by the police, is not subject to any finance agreement or other claim or liability, free from any defects/faults.

Return of vehicle - Full responsibility is on the customer to return the vehicle to Top Lane Cars Ltd in the event that they require a statutory repair, or they wish to exercise any other statutory rights.

Recovery - It is the customer's sole responsibility to have adequate Breakdown Cover, in the event of a Breakdown they will be fully responsible and bear all costs of the return if no other agreement has been made in advance and expressly agreed in writing by both parties.

Refunds and Buy Backs - Should your vehicle be returned to Top Lane Cars Ltd, buy backs will incur deduction for servicing, mileage driven after point of sale and any administration cost any extra work carried out on the vehicle at request of the customer will be deducted, when calculating refunds, a deduction for mileage will be based on £2.20 per mile. Any vehicle belonging to director personal is not sold as a trade vehicle and is a private sale a warranty will be paid for personally by the director.

Nothing herein contained is intended to affect, nor will it affect a consumer's statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any amended thereof. GDPR - I am fully aware that my personal data will be used in accordance to present stipulated guidelines, also understand that I can withdraw my consent at any time and my data will be removed.

Distant Selling Scheme - We do not operate a distant selling scheme as defined by the Consumer Contracts Reg 2013, if you choose not to view your vehicle at our premises prior to purchase, you will not be entitled to cancel your order under a 14-day cancellation period all other Statutory Rights remain intact.

Complaints - All complaints must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected] with evidence and image of current mileage.

All mileage readings are to be classed as correct unless stated in writing. A/C and Park Control Systems are not checked under our PDI checks nor do we cover them under our warranty. Multiple vehicle test drives will only be done on an Appointment basis. All deposits paid are Non-Refundable. We cannot hold vehicles for any customers. Any amendments made supersede any previous agreement.
